Noujaim To Be Commencement Speaker At
Teikyo
Post University
WATERBURY- State Representative Selim
Noujaim has accepted an invitation to be the commencement speaker at
Teikyo Post University by the school’s president, Jon Jay De Temple,
Ph.D., The ceremonies for the class of 2004 will be held on May 8th.
Representative Noujaim graduated from Teikyo Post University in 1973
(Then Post Junior College). Born and raised in Lebanon, Noujaim was
considered the institution’s first international student at the time.
Representative Noujaim fondly recalls his years at Teikyo Post, and
looks forward to what will be a homecoming of sorts. “The level of
personal attention I received as a student, and the dedication of the
professors and faculty there were certainly formative to me and my life,”
said Noujaim. “It is therefore, a deep and humbling honor to be asked to
return to Teikyo Post to deliver this commencement address.”
